The president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce warned China that calls for a boycott of French products could backfire and be disastrous for the Chinese economy because it could be met with similar action against Chinese products in Europe. Ninety-five percent of the products sold by Carrefour in China are produced within the country and the company employs 40,000 Chinese workers.--posted by Catherine Gao
