Sen. McCain: US slow to seek trade pacts in Asia

Senator John McCain criticized the Obama administration's trade policies and said that US economic growth demanded improved trade ties with Asia. He specifically called for faster work on the Trans-Pacific Partnership and deals with Taiwan and India. McCain called for an end to economic sanctions toward Myanmar. McCain wants tougher sanctions on North Korea, to punish it for its continued rocket and weapons programs. He said that China needs to help force change in North Korea. (cd)
